PINGREE PARK CONSTRUCTION

  • We are waiting on an exact start date, but roughly two weeks from now we will begin to demolish the existing tennis court and lay the foundation for a new tennis court and two dedicated pickleball courts.

  • We have been told this will take 2-3 weeks and we will close the "upper half" of Pingree which includes the first parking lot, the basketball court, the pavilion, the playground, and obviously the tennis court.
  • The dog park will still be open. If this changes and we need to close the whole park for that time, I will post again.
  • The tennis/pickleball courts will not be finished until the spring. I definitely do not have dates on that yet so please plan to play elsewhere until June '27 to be safe. We hope it is much sooner, but it will NOT be in 2026.
  • As soon as this round of construction is done, the park will re-open until winter is upon us.

  • Memorial Park vehicle access is closed for the season and the pond has been drained.
