Planning Commission 

The Planning Commission has broad authority to plan to meet future community needs, which may include, but is not limited to, drafting, and maintaining a current municipal plan, and identifying and recommending Town adoption of tools, programs, and policies - regulatory and non-regulatory, to implement the Town Plan. The Planning Commission solicits public input, weighs options, and recommends to the Selectboard adoption of the Town Plan and associated programs and policies to implement the Town Plan, some of which, if adopted by the Selectboard, may have the force and effect of law (e.g., changes to the Town’s Zoning Bylaws and/or Subdivision Regulations). The Commission must take care to solicit input from public officials, interest groups, civic groups, and citizens.

The Planning Commission meets the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Office at 100 Old School Street.
